  This is kind of a hidden gem. They do a lot of on-location events, and this is basically where they keep all the animals in between events, so it doesn't really feel like a place you're supposed to visit, but the experience was really cool. They let us hold a bunch of the snakes and the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. Basically for as long as we wanted to stay and ask questions and see the animals, they were willing to accommodate us.

  We had Scales and Tails visit our preschool summer camp and I was very impressed by their presentation. Not only was the host kind, friendly and knowledgeable - he was FUNNY too. Kept the teachers and the kids giggling throughout the show. Also, they were kind enough to tailor their presentation to match our "North America" week theme. They even swapped out some animals so that everything they brought was native to North America. That extra touch really meant a lot and we'll definitely be having them back again next year!

  Yes, it's a little cramped, and yes it smells like animals, but go, because it was an amazing experience because of the staff! The 18 year old guy knows so much about all the reptiles, it was amazing and completely changed my opinion on snakes in particular! He made it entertaining and educational! Go on a Monday night around 7 when they do the animal feedings, you will not be disappointed!!

  Always a great experience! Today we got to see the bird show at The Smith Library. The birds are so fun. My oldest loved how informative it was and my youngest loved the Kookaburro's laugh! We have seen their reptile shows and even been to their location and enjoyed it very much. We are fascinated every time with learning something new and exposing our boys to the interesting creatures. Thank you guys for being so great with our 11 year old AND our 3 year old. It is difficult finding things that intrigue them both.

  Scales and Tails is an AMAZING company to work with. Rindy is wonderful at communicating whether it is returning phone calls or exchanging emails. We asked them to bring their 6ft American Alligator GatorAde to our business and set up his exhibit in the lobby. It was a showstopper. It's all people could talk about for weeks. Hailey did an informational bit with the smaller alligator at our company lunch that same day. She was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. All in all it was a great experience and I look forward to finding ways to incorporate Scales and Tails in future events!

  Very small shop to help you get really close to the reptiles. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Feeding time for the reptiles was awesome.

  Such a fun place to take kids of all ages! There are so many cool animals to see there! It is a little stinky there but that's expected with a bunch is reptiles! They even get lots of the animals out and let you pet/gold them! Very cool!

  Scales and Tails is awesome. Had a birthday party for my 7 and 9 year old boys. The reptiles were really amazing and the kids and adults were very entertained. Great experience all around!

  We loved the interaction with the animals and the ability to learn all we wanted to know about each of them. The staff was super great at letting us take our time and pet some of the animals. It was a smaller location then we thought night he kids loved the experience.

  This was an incredible experience. My kids loved it so much. They got to hold turtles, lizards, snakes, and see so many cool animals. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. They were great with the kids and helping them hold the animals.
